The imposing red-bricks with exposed concrete structure made it challenging to incorporate the landscape with the building. Soft landscaping has been used in the extended verandas to the West to protect the building from the West sun. Bamboo-clumps to the West and South side create delightful shaded areas among the variations of Fycus, Panika, Cycus, Arrowroots, Ericca Palms and Bougainvilleas along the ground floor landscape. This ambient landscape has been used as a soft base, to the characteristics of the building. The traditional borders have been given an exotic twist with walkways at the roof with soft lawns & raised planters among the water pool, making the whole environment very serene.
